Stress can have a negative impact on physical well being. A divorce is an extremely stressful situation which can lead to very real physical ailments. Additionally, the over burdensome task of managing the numerous aspects of a matrimonial action might create a situation where health is neglected or ignored. Failure to pay attention to yourself and your physical environment may lead to harm.

If you are healthy, you can work towards creating a beneficial lifestyle. However, once your health deteriorates all other concerns take a back seat to the ailments affecting your body.

If you are usually health conscious, continue along this path despite your divorce. Schedule regular visits to your physicians, keep up with your health care regimens (such as medications), maintain your diet and continue your excersize program. A strong body will help you maintain a clear mind and allow you to concentrate on the legal aspects of your case. “Saving time” by neglecting your health is not beneficial. Divorce will have an impact on your finances, children and overall lifestyle. Additionally, the process itself is often cost prohibitive, involving legal and other professional fees.
